The Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has conjured up one more notable name for its cast: Zoë Kravitz.

The Warner Bros. film, which stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol, is set in New York, 70 years before the events in the Harry Potter books and film series. It follows Newt Scamander (Redmayne), a Magizoologist who ventures into a secret community of witches and wizards as he attempts to document magical creatures. His book is eventually used at Hogwarts where Harry Potter attends school.

Sources say Kravitz, who was added after production began, has a small role in the first film (which is now in post-production) but there’s the option for her to return with a meatier part in the sequel. Ahead of the film’s release on Nov. 18, Warner Bros. has already dated the sequel for Nov. 16, 2018.

Author J.K. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the project. Director David Yates, who helmed the final four Harry Potter films as well as Fantastic Beasts, is directing the follow-up, which is produced by David Heyman, Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. Neil Blair, Rick Senat and Danny Cohen are executive producing.

Kravitz has been building up a strong film career over the past few years. She starred in George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, the Divergent film franchise with Shailene Woodley, Sundance hit Dope and the upcoming indie Vincent N Roxxy. She’ll also appear in HBO series Big Little Lies with Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Woodley. She’s repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment.
