Han Solo will be grounded for about eight weeks due to a broken ankle, according to media reports.
Harrison Ford, the 71-year-old actor who is reprising his role from the original Star Wars trilogy in J.J. Abrams’ new film, broke his ankle last week when a door from his famed hunk-o-junk spacecraft fell on his leg. The break was severe enough that it will keep him out of action for up to two months, according to reports.
Ford is joined in the reunited cast alongside Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, as well as new co-stars Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, and Daisy Ridley.
A rep for Disney has not yet returned TheWrap’s request for comment.
