Golden Globes Set 2014 Telecast Date

The 71st  annual Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2013, it was announced Thursday by The Hollywood Foreign Press and the producer of the show, Dick Clark Productions.

That is similar to the date on which it was held this past January, even though the Academy Awards are a bit later next year, taking place on March 2.

The deadline for submission of movies and TV shows seeking nominations is Nov. 1. The  nominations will be announced on Dec. 12.
