Gird Your Loins (and Your Gut) for 'Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension'

Bringing to mind the same religious and demonic themes found in the horror classic The Exorcist, the forthcoming Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension promises scares of biblical proportions — and also some gross-out moments that could test even the most settled stomach.

At one point in this exclusive TV spot for the film — which you can watch above — we see a glimpse at some ghostly vomit. Just seconds later, a guy’s chest gets torn open by what looks like demon insides. If that isn’t enough, imagine that disgusting havoc played out on the big screen in 3D. You may very well need to bring a barf bag to the theater as your date.

The Ghost Dimension centers on a family who have just moved to Palo Alto, California, only to discover 20-year-old tapes of two young girls being trained by their grandmother to learn supernatural abilities. It starts to go downhill once the new homeowners realize one of the girls is still alive – at least on the screen.

Get ready for some queasy scares when the newest in the Paranormal Activity series hits theaters, in 3D, Oct. 23.
