People Are Waiting 5 Hours for the 'Frozen' Ride at Disney World — Watch a Video Clip to See Why

Looks like Disney World just got a whole lot…cooler. A brand new Frozen ride has opened in the Epcot section of the Flordia-based theme park, one that invites families to take a relaxing boat ride past their favorite Nordic characters from the 2013 animated smash, from Olaf the snowman to the resplendent ice queen Elsa. Nestled in Epcot’s Norway pavilion, Frozen Ever After replaces the Maelstrom ride, a switch that angered at least one frequent Disney World visitor. But those few dissenting voices have been drowned out by overwhelming visitor demand. Recent social media snaps show that the wait time to board Frozen Ever After has stretched to a whopping 300 minutes, making it clear that families aren’t just going to “let it go” and move on to another ride. To get a sneak peek at what those riders are waiting for, check out the video tour above of Frozen Ever After, filmed by Attractions Magazine. And look at the pictures below to see how intrepid Disney World visitors kept themselves entertained during the 5-hour wait. That’s long enough to be able to watch Frozen three times!
