Fisher Prices’s DC Superhero/Thomas the Tank Engine Mash-Ups Are Amazing

Sometimes, the words just can’t be found.

Yes, these are 100% genuine toys to be released this year by Fisher Price, transforming those lovable anthropomorphic vehicles of ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ into characters from DC comics.

Again - we just can’t find the words.

Flickering Myth and ComicBook.com got hold of the first pictures from the range, which will feature some 35 DC characters reimagined in train form as part of Fisher Price’s Mash-Up Minis line.

As well as Wonder Woman/Rosie and Supergirl/Emily (pictured above), we’ll have Thomas in Batman, Superman and Bizarro form.

Others we have pictures for include Belle as Batgirl:

Edwards as Black Adam (set to be immortalised by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the ‘Shazam’ movie):

We also have Emily as Poison Ivy and Gator as Green Lantern (we think the one in the middle is Doomsday, but regrettably we don’t know our Thomas characters well enough to identify the train):

These toys arrive not long after Thomas had a rather memorable cameo of sorts in 2015′s 'Ant-Man,’ from DC’s arch-rivals Marvel.

We just hope the kids manage to get these out of their parents’ hands long enough to enjoy them.
