Hide the kids and lock the doors, the Suicide Squad has assembled. DC’s dysfunctional team of supervillains have been captured here, in civilian guise, in the first cast shot.

Writer-director-ringleader David Ayer tweeted out the image Wednesday at the film’s table read.

Among the actors pictured are Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnamen (Rick Flag), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), along with a few others whose roles haven’t been disclosed, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, and Ike Barinholtz.

Notably missing in action is Jared Leto, who’ll be playing the Joker. He and his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, are out on tour, where has apparently been trying out his voice as the crown prince of crime. Scott Eastwood, who announced last month that he had an unspecified role in the film, was also not present for the photo opp.

Ayer has been avidly chronicling the film’s preproduction on his Twitter. Cameras start rolling later this month on the Warner Bros. movie about DC’s band of baddies pressed into service for missions no sane superhero would undertake.

The film is slated for release August 5, 2016.
