First Full 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation' Trailer: Tom Cruise Takes on the Shadowy Syndicate
After a tantalizing teaser over the weekend, we’ve finally got the first full trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation above. In it, we get even more of the movie’s fast and furious motorcycle chase and Ethan Hunt’s shirtless beat down, plus a longer look at the absolutely insane sequence that has Hunt (and by extension 52-year-old star Tom Cruise) clinging to the side of a military plane that’s about to go airborne. Hunt even manages a hoary quip in the midst of his iron grip, telling a gobsmacked Benji (Simon Pegg) to hurry up and hack open the door…“The other door!” (Read Yahoo’s interview with Cruise about the stunt here.)
The fifth movie in the action franchise follows IMF agents Hunt and his compatriots, including returning stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, and new femme fatale Rebecca Ferguson (Hercules) as they try to crack a havoc-wreaking team of rogue agents called the Syndicate. The new Mission arrives in theaters on July 31.
