What If Nicholas Sparks Wrote the 'Fast and the Furious?' Watch Our Totally Fake Trailer

Nearly 14 years ago, we saw young Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) sit down at a lunch counter belonging to Mia Toretta (Jordana Brewster) and order terrible tuna sandwich after terrible tuna sandwich. He had two agendas: To catch the bad guy and to catch Mia’s eye. Sure, the Fast and the Furious franchise has a few flashy car stunts. But the series is really all about that special relationship between a cop, a criminal, and that criminal’s sister.

In fact, minus the action, it sounds a lot like a Nicholas Sparks novel. And we’ve got the totally fake, but totally convincing trailer above to prove it. When you’re done watching, we’re sure you’ll agree with us that an auto-free Fast movie wouldn’t be out of place next to The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, or The Vow.
