Exclusive 'Zoolander 2' Clip: Derek Jr. Is Missing, Justin Bieber Still Dead!
When we last saw Derek Zoolander, we learned he had a son with reporter Matilda Jeffries. Fittingly, they named him Derek Jr. And now, in this exclusive clip from Zoolander 2 (above), it’s revealed that little Derek has gone missing.

Lucky for Derek (Ben Stiller), Interpol agent Valentina (Penélope Cruz) can access a powerful database to help find him. But first, he and Hansel (Owen Wilson) need to help her hunt down Justin Bieber’s killer. (As we learned in the first trailer, the Biebs is among “the beautiful people” targeted by an assassin.)

Derek Jr. is played by Cyrus Arnold, who looks to be roughly 15 years older than last we saw little Derek in the 2001 original, striking his first pose in front of his male model daddy:
It’ll be interesting to see if the kid has followed in his father’s footsteps or if his interests lie outside of the world of male modeling. Also, did Matilda (who’s played again by Stiller’s real-life wife, Christine Taylor) keep up with her investigative journalism? Maybe she has a Pulitzer Prize by now.
We’ll learn how young Zoolander gets kidnapped, whether his father can get him back home, and more when Zoolander 2 hits theaters next weekend.
