Exclusive: The 'Dear White People' Blooper Reel
If you haven’t yet seen the acclaimed college campus satire Dear White People, one more selling point is that it looks like it was a lot of fun to make.
In the footage above — shown exclusively on Yahoo Movies — you’ll see choice NSFW outtakes from the film about racial tensions at an elite university. Especially funny is leading lady Tessa Thompson, who plays campus DJ Sam White: She flubs her lines, has a coughing fit during a kissing scene, and coolly corrects the actor playing a professor who gets the name of the fictional university wrong. (It’s Winchester, not Manchester.)
The gag reel will be among the extras on the DVD and Blu-ray, coming out on Feb. 3. If you can’t wait until then though, Dear White People is now available on Digital HD and VOD. (And, yes, the gag reel appears there, too!)
