Edgar Wright: The Funniest Director Alive?

When director Edgar Wright exited the soon-to-start filming big-screen adaptation of Ant-Man, fans —including some big names — were universally dismayed.

Audiences, they knew, would be deprived of seeing a unique interpretation of a superhero by a talented director with a distinctive vision — and perhaps the best understanding of visual comedy of any filmmaker alive.

At least that’s the contention of movie fan Tony Zhou, who put together this clip that rather convincingly lays out the case for Wright’s facility for formulating the filmic funny.
