Of Course Ed Helms Will Be Sad If He’s Replaced as Rusty Griswold in a ‘Vacation’ Sequel
Ed Helms, the new face of the Griswold family, stopped by Yahoo studios this week, where among some other fun and games we peppered him with a few questions from his fans on social media.
The Vacation star talked about his all-time favorite Griswold movie (the original National Lampoon’s Vacation) and most awkward expedition of his own (a jaunt with his buddies to Thailand). But gold star for best question goes to Kevin Crossman on Twitter, who asked Helms if he’s sad, that per Vacation tradition, he’d have to be replaced was there to be another Vacation movie after this. (There have been five Rusty Griswolds in five movies now.)
“If there’s another Vacation movie and there’s another Rusty, I will understand,” Helms answered playfully. “But I will be heartbroken, yes.”
