The Walking Dead's season finale is upon us and its ominous episode title indicates what we all have suspected: characters will die.

The sixteenth episode of the sixth season is called, "Last Day on Earth." While everyone has been so focused all season long on having Glenn meet Lucille's bat, they haven't stopped to consider the other possibilities tonight has been leading up to.

Let's look at where the penultimate episode left us before we break down each character's chances.

Glenn and Michonne are hostages of Dwight's. Daryl has been shot. Rosita is somewhere in that mix.

Carol is out on her own, wandering around in an emotionally distraught state. Morgan, also alone, is out chasing after her.

Maggie just broke down in her salon chair as her pregnancy ran into some complications.

Rick and Abraham are back at Alexandria, wondering where everyone is, and eager to set the world on fire should anything go bad.

The group is divided. They're weak. They're vulnerable. Now let's think about who is in what kind of danger.

Rick- For the first time, I won't say Rick is 100% safe. While I doubt the show would truly have the gall to kill of the central character in a Game of Thrones-style shocker, the build-up to Negan's arrival and choices he has made to get his group here puts him in a dangerous position.

Carl- Safe. Several characters would sacrifice themselves before letting Carl be injured or killed. Plus, he's finally growing up a bit and realizing what real threats are.

Judith- Safe. Hanging back at Alexandria with Father Gabe will be a smart move this week.

Maggie- Danger. Sure, she becomes a leader in the comics, but so did Andrea. Not only is her pregnancy a threat to her health but the leader of the Hilltop despises her and Negan may see her as a double kill.

Glenn- Danger. The death at the hands of Negan is rightfully his. He's first in line. Whether or not it comes to fruition - we'll see.

Daryl- Danger. While many think Daryl is safe because he has a shield made entirely of fans, the character was badly injured last week and would likely sacrifice himself to save any others, if need be. He's been unpredictable and making poor decisions lately.

Michonne- Not safe. Not quite in danger. Negan killing Michonne would be a weird choice. Or anyone killing her at this point, for that matter. Her character is opening up and one which is critical to the group and Rick's story right now.

Abraham- Not safe. Not quite in danger. Abraham's comic book death was gifted to Denise a couple of weeks ago, which means he has more story to tell.

Aaron- Safe. His death wouldn't have an impact on the show like many other heavy hitters would.

Eric- Safe. Aaron's boyfriend (who hasn't been on the show in how long?) will be kicking it back at the Safe-Zone will no threats will likely arise this week.

Eugene- Safe. They're going to need his bullets.

Rosita- Danger. She tends to act out. Dwight won't be having that. He may very well put her down to start off the episode.

Sasha- Danger. Nothing would piss of Abraham more than to see his new love interest be offed right in front of him, though a lower tier character like Sasha would certainly cheapen the impact of Negan's arrival.

Tara- Safe. She got the same "Stay at Alexandria" memo Eric and Judith did.

Gabriel- Safe. Ole father will be doing some protecting from all of the threats that won't even be appearing in Alexandria.

Morgan- Not safe. Not in danger. He can handle himself but he's in a vulnerable position being out alone. His lack of willingness to kill could prove costly.

Carol- Danger. At this point, she seems okay with dying. Though she likely won't be around for Negan's big "hello," someone else entirely could kill her and no one said the death count stays at 1 for the good guys.

Dwight- Safe. So many people want him dead but those usually aren't the ones to go.

Negan- Safe. His impact will be felt and he'll be sticking around.

The Walking Dead's season finale airs tonight at 9 PM ET on AMC.
