Deadpool Gets Two Post-Credit Scenes

It looks as though ‘Deadpool’ has even more bang for your buck…

It’s safe to say that comic book movies fans have come to expect a good post-credits scene. Especially when it comes to Marvel movies. And while ‘Deadpool’ is no exception, it looks as though there’s not one, but two of them heading our way.

At least, according to those in the know.

‘Deadpool’ screenwriter Rhett Reese recently took to Twitter to address rumours of those post-credit scenes… and while early screenings have revealed an extra scene at the end, it looks as though there’s another one we haven’t seen yet.

“No one who’s seen Deadpool so far has seen *all* of Deadpool,” he explained. “There’s a second coda that won’t arrive ‘til the movie screens in theaters…”

And ‘Deadpool’ artist and co-creator Rob Liefield confirmed that this is the case.

“There is another you did not see! There’s TWO!” he told a fan via Twitter. “I said it in front of the IMAX screening and Tim and Simon nodded ‘Yes’. Held back from previews.”

But how will it fit into the credits?

At the moment, the post-credits scene that’s already been shown (which we won’t discuss here) shows up right at the very end of the credits… so it looks as though this unseen second scene will likely pop-up somewhere in the mid-credits.

What is it all about? It looks as though nobody has any idea.

So for now, we’ll have to wait and see… but perhaps we’ll see Deadpool breaking the fourth wall once again with a post-credits scene which mocks post-credits scenes.

Or maybe he’ll just grab himself a chimichanga.

‘Deadpool’ heads to cinemas on 14 February 2016.
