James Franco's Weed-Inspired Gift to Bryan Cranston

On Wednesday, James Franco and Bryan Cranston rolled into Conan and revealed a pot-themed present between the two. Franco, the multitalented artist, painted several of the paintings for the set of their film Why Him.

Franco gave a painting to Cranston of a large marijuana leaf on an even larger canvas. Cranston said, “I brought it home to my wife. We have been together for almost 30 years and we have a nice old Connecticut home. I said, ‘Honey, where do you think this would fit?’ She said, ‘I don’t know if it would fit anywhere.’”

Bryan Cranston’s wife might have been too nice to say she didn’t like it, but James Franco was nice enough to reveal that he mixed marijuana into the paint.

Conan airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on TBS.
