Fear not, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" fans; your favorite pint-sized pageant princess will return to the airwaves this summer.
Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her clan of charmers will be back for another season of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" on July 17 at 9 p.m., TLC said Monday. The network promised that the new season will deliver "even more unpredictable moments from America's most outspoken and crazy family," which in addition to the titular pageant contestant includes her mother June, father Mike, sisters Lauryn, Jessica and Anna, and baby niece Kaitlyn.
"This summer, get ready to watch the family take part in hijinks like butter rolling, tap dancing lessons and wrestling events," the network said in a statement.
The maiden season of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" averaged 2.3 million total viewers last fall and, perhaps more importantly, introduced terms such as "vajiggle jaggle" and "redneckognize" into the national lexicon.
