Coach is bringing its limited-edition varsity jackets to the West Coast.
The All-American brand first introduced its collection of one-of-kind jackets at the Soho Varsity Store in New York in early September, but now those in L.A. will get a chance to check out the collection as three of the jackets will be making their way to Coach's Rodeo Drive boutique.
As seen in the image above, the outwear is customized with a variety of vintage patches, hand-applied embroidery, hardware and pins. The jackets retail for $1,800 a piece and are now available at the Beverly Hills flagship - the only other location to carry them.
"These rare jackets are incredibly special in terms of their unique customization, and are really close to the heart of what Coach stands for - individuality, character and effortless style," said Coach creative director Stuart Vevers, who presented a biker-chic collection for spring 2017 during New York Fashion Week.

Those shopping at the Rodeo Drive outpost also will be treated with another exclusive in-store item - vintage Coach handbags that have been sourced from around the world at flea markets and vintage stores, as well as online auctions. These purses are sent to Montana for restoration before going to New York, where details and embellishments are added.
The style offered in L.A. includes the original Dinky handbag - available in two sizes (small for $595, large for $695) - that is enhanced with the Varsity Stripe, one of the label's signature motifs.
The bags will be up for sale Nov. 3, coinciding with the launch of the Craftsmanship Bar - the second West Coast location to offer the customization and leather services (the first in California was in San Francisco).
