Rebecca Kutler has been named executive producer of the new "Crossfire," CNN said Wednesday. Kutler, who's been with the cable news network for more than a decade, has handled producing duties for a variety of CNN programming, including weekend, weekday and primetime shows.

She was also a key producer for the network during its coverage of the 2012 election and 2013 inauguration.

The resuscitated "Crossfire," which will feature former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, TheBlaze contributor and author S.E. Cupp, Obama campaigner Stephanie Cutter and former Obama administration advisor Van Jones, will kick off in the fall, originating from CNN's Washington bureau.
