The Clark County Coroner’s office says Cirque du Soleil aerialist Sarah Guyard-Guillot fell some 90 feet Saturday night — almost twice the distance reported initially — and died of blunt force trauma.

Guyard-Guillot fell during the climactic sequence of “Ka” at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Saturday night. It was Cirque du Soleil’s first-ever onstage fatality.

The Coroner’s office ruled the death an accident and said the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is conducting an investigation that could take up to six months to complete.
