Cheryl Guerriero’s ‘Palmer’ On Track With Route One

EXCLUSIVE: Route One Entertainment has snapped up the all-media rights option for Cheryl Guerriero’s script Palmerwhich follows an ex-con who returns to his hometown and forms an unlikely bond with a young boy abandoned by his junkie mother.

Palmer was brought into Route One by Sophia Dilley, Director of Development and Production, who will co-produce. Route One CEO Russell Levine is producing, and Chris Lytton, Route One’s COO, will serve as executive producer along with Guerriero. A second-quarter 2017 production start date is being eyed.

Guerriero, repped by Heroes and Villains Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman, co-wrote the thriller Hunting Season which aired on HBO/Cinemax, Lifetime and other channels worldwide, as well as the Paris Hilton comedy Pledge This! Her documentary My Best Kept Secret was featured on Oprah.
