Chadwick Boseman Talks Who Would Win Black Panther Vs. Captain America Fight
Chadwick Boseman, the actor who plays T'Challa/Black Panther in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, was a guest on Entertainment Weekly Radio (Sirius XM 105). During the interview, Boseman discussed what was comfortable, and not comfortable, about wearing his superhero suit. He also teased what T'Challa's personality is like in the film, the suit's unique capabilities and tried his best to answer who would win in a fight between Black Panther and Captain America.
EW: So if they (Black Panther's claws) are made out of Vibranium and Captain America's (Chris Evans) shield is made out of Vibranium: Who wins in a fight?
Chadwick Boseman: I don't know, man. I don't know.
EW: Do we get to find out in the movie?
Chadwick Boseman: That's a great question right there.
EW: Is that a question the movie answers?
Chadwick Boseman: Hypothetically are you asking do we fight in the movie? Is that what you're asking?
EW: I think what I'm asking is, yeah. Are we going to see the answer to that in the movie?
Chadwick Boseman: I don't think you will.
EW: Okay. So hypothetically then: Who wins in a fight?
Chadwick Boseman: If you're talking to [Floyd] Mayweather or [Manny] Pacquiao, before Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, then Mayweather is going to say he'll win. And if you're talking to Canelo [Alvarez], before the [Miguel] Cotto fight, he's gonna say he's gonna win.
EW: You're gonna back yourself, right!
