'Canadian Sniper' Parody Trailer Shows What Happens When War Meets Maple Leafs
War is hell. So, evidently, is a wild moose attack.
Though it would seem difficult to parody Clint Eastwood’s polarizing box office sensation American Sniper, which stars Bradley Cooper as the late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, a comedy troupe called Cannibal Milkshake pulled off the feat — thanks mostly to the universal appeal of Canadian stereotypes.
Denim, maple syrup, hockey jerseys, and a whole lot of snow dominate this mock trailer above, which also spoofs Sniper's plastic baby problem. Looks like Eastwood and Co. missed out on a sweet product placement opportunity.
