"Scream 4" doesn't hit theaters until Friday, April 15, but I was lucky enough to see the fourth installment of the landmark slasher franchise a few weeks ago thanks to our friends at Dimension Films. Needless to say, I was beyond excited to see my favorite returning cast members Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette back in action, and the film's much talked about opening scene. If you thought the first film's iconic opening sequence (featuring Drew Barrymore) was groundbreaking, wait 'til you see this one! But, unfortunately, I can't divulge much because I signed my life away upon entering the heavily guarded screening room.
Luckily, that didn't stop two of the cast's new scream queens (Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts) from chatting with me about their experiences on set. Check out my exclusive interview with them to find out what it's like to work with horror master Wes Craven, what it's like to be stalked by a masked mad man, and which of the two girls hid behind a blanket when she saw the original "Scream" as a young teen:
