Stars sporting strange facial hair and wide-lapel suits? “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” must be in production.

In the latest news, word began to circulate on Monday that Harrison Ford would be joining the cast of the long-awaited sequel to 2004’s “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy." And now a photo has appeared of Ford in costume with star Will Ferrell. While Ferrell rocks the mustache and wine-colored suit that has become Ron Burgundy’s trademark, Ford is wearing a sharp charcoal grey suit with aviator glasses, and his grey hair has been dyed a dashing black, with an appropriately distinguished bit of maturity at the temples. Ford is said to be playing a veteran news anchor in the manner of Tom Brokaw, and there’s no arguing that the once and future Han Solo sure looks the part here.

Also sporting their character’s signature look for “Anchorman 2” was Paul Rudd as he walked the red carpet Monday night for the New York City premiere of “Admission,” his new comedy co-starring Tina Fey.
Rudd has grown out the very 1970s mustache and shaggy haircut he wore as Brian Fantana, and told reporters he was thrilled to be giving the character another go.

“It's very exciting that this is coming back,” Rudd said. “It's been a bit surreal. It's been a while. We're all a little bit giddy about it because we all have such fond memories of the first one.”

Rudd did confess that there are some hazards to taking the Fantana look off the set. “I do remember the first ‘Anchorman’ we shot and I had this mustache, I remember getting onto an elevator once and this couple being very creeped out by me,” he recalled. “I was also wearing a t-shirt that said 'Mustache Rides, 25 cents.’” (Note to Rudd: As Ron would say, you stay classy.)
