It may still technically be summer, but the summer movie season is officially done. Now, the industry is opening the gates for more cerebral, less explosive fall releases, films that are talked about with words like "Oscar-worthy" and "life-changing," that boast not just names like Clooney and Bullock, but also Seydoux and Ejiofor.
Ushering in the fall movie season is the Toronto International Film Festival, which conveniently abbreviates to TIFF.
