In the new family flick "The Lego Movie," Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Arnett play Lego toys, and they are uproariously funny.
Naturally, we wondered what it would look to like to see these hilarious, fully grown adults play with Lego toys. You know, for insight into how they go about crafting a voice for the characters they portray on screen (or something like that).
The results, as you can see in the video above, land somewhere between sunshine and sublime.

In terms of who gave the best performance, that would have to be Pratt (he plays the film's unlikely hero, Emmet Brickowski), who developed an intricate narrative that included "Crying Game"-esque plot twists, German accents and more.
Arnett gets bonus points for also incorporating a twist, introducing Lego Batman (whom he voices in the movie) into the action at the last minute.
Ferrell (the diabolical President Business), goes to town with Gollum — and as it turns out, really wants a "My Pretty Pony" movie.
And Banks, who voices the heroine Wyldstyle, might deliver the most convincing act of independent play we saw that day.
OK, so they all win.
