Lady Gaga finishes acting debut shoot for ‘Machete Kills’
We've seen her morph constantly in-and-out of crazy characters onstage and in her music videos. So it almost seems late-coming that pop star Lady Gaga is only now making her acting debut in a feature film.
Gaga just wrapped shooting Robert Rodriguez' "Machete Kills." And the director seems pretty stoked, tweeting Thursday: "I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills , she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!"
In the tweet, Rodriguez also posted the below photo of Gaga in character as Lady Chameleon:

We still don't know a whole lot about her role in "Machete Kills," but judging from the movie poster, Gaga is decidedly, dangerously glam, sporting what looks to be a stole made of wolf along with platinum blonde Marilyn Monroe-esque hair, a smoking gun, jewels dripping and thigh high stockings.
Following Rodriguez' tweet, Gaga also took to Twitter: "Yes its [sic] true, I will be making my debut as an actress ln the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane."
The star-littered B-movie-inspired film, due in theaters next year, is the sequel to 2010's "Machete," with Lindsay Lohan, Robert De Niro, and Danny Trejo.
The list of stars in "Machete Kills" is quite staggering -- from breadth to caliber [via IMDB.com]:
Charlie Sheen (director Rodriguez confirmed in June.)
Cuba Gooding Jr.
Edward James Olmos
