Courtney Love gave another of her crazyland interviews for addiction site The Fix, and we'll let Erin Carlson at The Famous sum that up for you while we try, lamely, to defend how truly great she was in "The People Vs. Larry Flynt." (And she was.) We're not here to talk about another Courtney Love meltdown, because there will just be another one in a week. No, we're gonna talk about the Kurt Cobain-as-Eric-Stoltz rumor again.

In an upcoming "oral history" of Nirvana in GQ magazine, Love says Quentin Tarantino wanted Cobain to play Stoltz's role in "Pulp Fiction." This is not a new story: It came out five years ago, with Love apparently supposed to play Roseanna Arquette's part.

We're pretty relieved Kurt -- one of the major influences in everything we do -- turned down the part. Not because we think he would have been bad, though he probably would have, but because we are not ready to live in a world where Kurt Cobain and John Travolta were in a scene together. That'll make a man do heroin.
