In true "X-Men: Days of Future Past" form, director Bryan Singer has tweeted yet another on-set peek at one of his comic book movie characters. This time he posted a pic of James McAvoy as Charles Xavier on Thursday with the note "#Serpico" – clearly a wink to the 34-year-old Scottish actor's '70s garb.
Indeed, McAvoy has moved over a decade from 2011's X-Men prequel, "First Class" – which took place in the '60s – and now we get to see the disco-era version of his Xavier aka Professor X.
Singer has been tweeting up a Storm from the set of the film that's due in theaters next summer in July 2014. He posted a picture of a pregnant-and-working Halle Berry in her new Storm costume, and then one of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Other twit-pics from Singer include one of Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde aka Shadowcat, a few photos of him posing with Ian McKellen (who plays Erik Lehnsherr aka Magento) and even one of him embarking on a film set trailer nap.
But we're still waiting for him to snap a pic of Jennifer Lawrence as Raven aka Mystique!
To be continued…
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is set to hit theaters on July 18, 2014.
