Who Will Dig It?
Anyone who's read the book will have to see how the twists and turns get adapted to the screen, and anyone who hasn't needs to go before someone spoils the ending.
Three Good Reasons
- 1 There's a reason Steig Larsson's books have sold 60 million copies worldwide - they're deeply engrossing mysteries with unforgettable leading characters.
- 2 Daniel Craig is perfect to play crusading journalist Mikael Blomkvist, and young actress Rooney Mara completely transformed herself to become Lisbeth Salander.
- 3 Uncompromising director David Fincher made a compelling drama out of people arguing about Facebook, so just imagine what he can do for a bestselling thriller.
Bet You Didn't Know
Fincher has brought back Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who won Academy Awards for their score for "The Social Network," to write the music for this film. It was the first film score composed by Reznor, the mastermind behind the band Nine Inch Nails, but not his first attempt. He wrote music for the 2002 film "One Hour Photo," but his work was rejected and he was replaced. Reznor reused some of that material for his album "Still."
