A year ago, Hailee Steinfeld came out of nowhere to impress everyone with her first major film role in "True Grit." We haven't heard much from her since -- she's supposedly still doing that new version of "Romeo and Juliet" -- but she's just now snagged the female lead in "Ender's Game," which will star "Hugo" kid Asa Butterfield. The "it" teen of last awards season teaming up with the "it" teen of this year: They probably have a lot to talk about. [Showblitz/Variety]

Usually, Marion Cotillard casting news would go above the fold, but since Warner Bros. is merely offering her a role, we won't get too excited yet. Nonetheless, the Oscar-winner is being approached by the studio to star in "Arthur & Lancelot," a contemporary redo of the King Arthur story from "Wedding Crashers" director David Dobkin. (By the way, it's not a comedy.) If Cotillard signs up for the project, she'd be "the sorceress half-sister to Arthur," who's being played by Kit Harington from "Game of Thrones." Let's be honest: She's exceptionally lovely. [Vulture]
