Steve Carell is suddenly attachedtoeverything. Fine by us: He's a gifted comic actor who doesn't seem to have let fame affect him one bit. Now he's signed up for "Lunatics," based on a forthcoming book about "two New Jersey soccer dads whose minor feud escalates to create worldwide consequences, and leave them running for their lives." He does these mild-mannered characters so well maybe we should just start calling these kinds of roles "Carells." [Deadline]

Jason Clarke has been part of two well-liked shows that never really caught on with audiences, "Brotherhood" and "The Chicago Code." He'll be in the forthcoming "Great Gatsby," but he's also come on board "Hurt Locker" director Kathryn Bigelow's untitled Bin Laden drama. We feel relatively confident he's not playing Bin Laden. [Deadline]

Longtime character actor Rex Linn is a "CSI: Miami" regular who's also been on "The Walking Dead." And now he's in "Django Unchained." Seriously, everyone is "Django Unchained." This movie is going to be 10 hours long. [Deadline]
