‘Baby Got Back’ is Draper’s latest supercut

Movie Talk

He painstakingly edits together mounds and mounds of television and film clips until they form something that is both hilarious and awe-inspiring.

His YouTube moniker represents the first video meme for which he was made popular: DonDraperSaysWhat. In that video, from almost two years ago, he put together a "supercut" of Don Draper (Jon Hamm) in AMC's "Mad Men" series saying "what" in rapid succession and with amusing consequences -- especially for fans of the award-winning television series.

Just a few months ago, Mr. DonDraperSaysWhat, upped the ante by cutting together a practically unfathomable number of movie clips that amounted to all of the lyrics from Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'."

Needless to say, his latest creation (see below video) does not disappoint. It is, again, a movies supercut, but this time it's filled with a different enormous grouping of movie scenes and is set to Sir Mix-a-Lot's 1992 hit song "Baby Got Back."

What drives a person to such lengths? "I do em for kicks! I'll probably keep it up as long as people like watching them and I have the time," the supercut artist, who didn't reveal his real name,  just told me via Twitter direct message. "I've worked in NYC as a copy editor for most of the past decade," he added.

He (for a few reasons, we presume DonDraperSaysWhat is a man) told me that his latest creation took roughly four months to make "with a few breaks in between... I started work on it not long after I posted my Journey video."

Keep believing Mr. Draper! We're watching.
