Artist Recreates the ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy With Paper

%photo11% %photo1% The Force is strong with this one. An artist named Eric Power has created a unique version of the "Star Wars" trilogy using paper animation. To paraphrase a certain green Jedi master, "Awesome it is!"

The video, which was featured on popular blog BoingBoing, is only about two minutes in length. But it still manages to fit in many of the key points from Episodes 4, 5, and 6. The famous trench run, Han's carbon freezing, and Luke's battles with Darth Vader are all there. True, there's no Jabba, and Chewbacca gets far too little screen time. Maybe in the extended cut.

Oh, and we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the music. Playing in the background is an original tune called "Tatooine" (Luke Skywalker's home planet). It's lo-fi, lo-tech, and works surprisingly well with the visuals. Check out the video below.
