Joseph Gordon-Levitt has worked with Christopher Nolan, Gregg Araki, Steven Spielberg, and Rian Johnson. That's an impressive, eclectic bunch, but now we oughta add Quentin Tarantino to the list: He's in talks to be part of "Django Unchained." We've continued to be impressed by Gordon-Levitt -- we even dug him in the ragged "Hesher" as a metal-loving burnout -- and he's going to be part of two major Christmas releases next year. Funny how a stellar career shuts up all those "3rd Rock From the Sun" jokes, huh? [Variety]

The sixth and seventh "Fast and Furious" movies are being shot back-to-back, and they're also possibly going to feature a wraparound story that combines the two films. Can Vin Diesel memorize that much dialogue? [24 Frames/Los Angeles Times]

Any "Barry Lyndon" fans in the house? If so, you're probably as obsessed about every little detail of Stanley Kubrick's brilliant period drama as we are. As part of The House Next Door's "Conversations" series, Jason Bellamy and Ed Howard let fly with a fantastic, insightful, brilliantly detailed discussion on anything and everything concerning Kubrick's misunderstood epic. It got us so jazzed all over again about the movie we had to hear the opening Handel music right now. [The House Next Door/Slant]
