Watch Michael Keaton and Edward Norton Face Off in an Exclusive Clip From 'Birdman'

It’s been 15 years since Fight Club, which may be why Edward Norton looks a little rusty sparring with Michael Keaton in the much-acclaimed movie Birdman, out in theaters today. In this bare-knuckle (and NSFW) face-off above — one of the craziest scenes in a film that’s filled with crazy moments, like Keaton’s underwear-clad run through Times Square — Keaton’s washed-up movie star-turned-Broadway maven Riggan Thomson takes a swing at Norton’s preening stage actor, Mike Shiner, who has a habit of bad-mouthing Riggan behind his back…as well as to his face.

While the characters think they’re having a serious brawl, for the audience and the actors, the fight looks completely absurd. “It’s wonderfully silly,” the former Batman told Yahoo Canada about his bout with the onetime Incredible Hulk. Norton added that they were both chuckling too hard to land a solid punch. “We were struggling to get a complete version of that because we kept laughing so much. We lost probably five takes because Michael was laughing at my bikini. It was very funny.” Hey for that matter, so was Fight Club.
