Ben Carson Says It "Doesnt Matter" Whether Trump Accusers Are Lying, Requests Katty Kay's Mic Be Turned Off

The Hollywood Reporter

Ben Carson went off on MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and other panelists on Friday's Morning Joe.

Panelist Katty Kay asked Carson about earlier comments he had made on the show, when he talked about armrests on airplanes, referring to one of the Trump accusers' stories that he had groped her in first class. Kay asked Carson if he was saying the Trump accusers were lying.

Carson responded by saying she was trying to make him look like "the bad guy" and when she objected he repeatedly said, "Stop, stop stop," and then said, "Hey, can you turn her microphone off please? Turn her microphone off so I can talk."

Scarborough jumped in to say no, he wouldn't turn off Kay's microphone and said "Nobody's trying to paint you as a bad guy, we just want an answer."

"It doesn't matter whether they are lying or not," said Carson. The Trump surrogate said America is getting distracted and not focusing on the right issues at the moment. When Kay jumped in later to press him, Carson said, "Do you guys have a plug please?"

Carson proceeded to talk about "you people in the media" and got into an argument with Scarborough over media bias.
