In the New Trailer for 'Pitch Perfect 2,' the Bellas Set Out to Conquer the World
All you aca-maniacs now have something to sing about with this new trailer for the upcoming musical comedy Pitch Perfect 2. The sequel to the surprise 2012 hit — which brought in more than $110 million at the box office and spawned a hit single in “Cups” — reunites most of the cast of the college-set original.

The clip finds Beca (Anna Kendrick), Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson), Chloe (Brittany Snow), and the rest of the Barden Bellas having to take their a cappella skills to a global level — as in representing their school and country in a world championship. Talk about raising the stakes. Beca’s love interest Jesse (Skylar Astin) also returns, along with some new faces, including Emily (Hailee Steinfeld), the latest addition to the Bellas.
The movie, directed by Elizabeth Banks in her first feature behind the camera (she also reprises her role as talent judge, opens in theaters on May 15.
