'Avengers: Infinity War' Could Feature 67 Main Characters, Maybe More

Between the Avengers franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy, and other soon-to-be-released properties, the list of characters in the Marvel cinematic universe is growing. And that list may grow even longer, which sounds crazy but is entirely feasible.

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of the upcoming two-part Avengers: Infinity War, have let it slip that they’re “breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it.”

Infinity War is going to be a huge movie. It’s been built up in every Marvel movie to date via those infinity stones. Thanos has been featured in the end credits of every movie, and if the comics are to be believed, it’s going to require every superhero in the universe to beat him — and even many we haven’t yet seen.

They have only started the writing process, but it’s logical to assume there could be more or there could be fewer. It’s also safe to assume that heroes of upcoming stand-alone movies will be in there. That includes Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, and several other franchises that Marvel has on its docket.

Who are some of the potential 67 you would like to see? Let us know!
