Anna Popplewell To Co-Star On CW’s ‘Reign’, Cliff Curtis On Fox’s ‘Gang Related’

The Chronicles Of Narnia star Anna Popplewell has been cast in a lead role opposite Adelaide Kane in the CW’s drama pilot Reign, from CBS TV Studios. It chronicles the rise to power of Mary Queen of Scots (Kane) when she arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis (Toby Regbo), and with her best friends as ladies-in-waiting. Brit Popplewell, repped by ICM Partners, Luber Roklin and UK’s United, plays Mary’s friend/lady-in-waiting Lola. She recently starred in Web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

Cliff Curtis (Missing) has joined Fox’s drama pilot Gang Related, from 20th TV and Imagine TV. Written by Chris Morgan, directed by Allen Hughes and exec produced by Brian Grazer, Gang Related centers on Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez), a gang member sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department. Curtis, repped by Abrams Artists, plays Javier Acosta who runs La Familia Sud, one of the most dangerous and powerful Latino gangs in San Francisco.
