Get ready: this summer is going to belong to the Suicide Squad.

Ahead of the August release of David Ayer’s big screen adaptation of the DC Entertainment comic book series, Warner Bros. Consumer Products has announced an extensive program of merchandising for the supervillains-gone-almost-good movie, including partnerships with Hot Topic, Funko, HarperCollins Publishing, and many more.

Products included in the merchandising roll-out will include traditional superhero movie merch — action figures from Mattel, prop replicas from eFX, and other toys and accessories from DC Direct — and more high-end items, including a leather assortment from Matchless London and timepieces from Accutime Watch Corp.

Hot Topic, Bioworld Merchandising, and Junk Food Clothing will release clothing lines based on the movie, with athletic wear available from Under Armour and cosplay costumes from Rubie’s Costume Co. and Party City; decor inspired by the movie will also be released by Noble Collection, Franco Manufacturing, and Trends International, among other manufacturers. Many of the items can be seen at DC’s online store.

Additionally, HarperCollins and Titan Publishing will release books related to the movie (with DC’s comic book arm also launching a new Suicide Squad title in August), with Hallmark, Huckleberry Toys, Trend Setters, Fashion Accessory Bazaar, and Underground Toys in line to offer “paper products” inspired by the feature.

Suicide Squad marks the theatrical debut of several of the most recognized, fan-favorite DC Super-Villains, and these iconic characters offer WBCP a unique opportunity to create a robust merchandising program aimed at the adult collector via partnerships with some of the most renowned licensees in the industry,” WBCP president Pam Lifford said in a statement accompanying the announcement of the program.
