Which Wine Complements Your Girl Scout Cookies? There’s an App for That!

We’re entering Girl Scout cookie time, folks! And it turns out that these delicious desserts match up quite well with one of our other favorite things: wine.

The wine app Vivino has cleverly put together a guide to help you decide which Rioja, Riesling, Pinot, and more to pair with your favorite Girl Scout cookies, with flavor profiles and mouthwatering explanations to boot. Vivino teamed with Jessica Norris, the director of wine at New York City’s Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, so the list is legit.

Apparently, Samoas taste even better with an aged Rioja, and a combo of Do-si-dos and a California Zinfandel will taste like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (sold!).

Obviously, as you plan your own tasting, feel free to deviate from these suggestions. After all, then you’ll get to sample more wines and eat more cookies!

A win-win if ever we heard one.
