Put A Bird On It With This Adorable Tissue Paper DIY
We think it’s important to remember that window decorations are not just for the holidays. A home is always a tiny bit better if there’s a touch of DIY, and this window decor might be just the thing you need.
These birds are made from tissue paper, and are just perfect for windows since they´re see-through. When the sun shines in, you’ll have lots of beautifully colored birds lighting up your living room.
Materials:
Tissue paper
Glue dots
Cardstock
Tools:
Scissor
Sharpie
Black chalk marker/ dry erase marker
Step 1: Start by drawing the shape of the bird on the card stock.
Start with a circle as a head, an oval as the body, a rectangle that widens at the end as the tale and a triangle as the beak.
Cut out the bird shape.
Step 2: Use the shape of the bird to trace around on the tissue paper, and cut it out.
Step 3: Add about two glue dots to the back of the tissue paper bird.
Step 4: Draw a line on your window from one end to the other with the chalk or dry erase marker. (You can wash off the line when you’re ready to!)
Step 5: Glue the bird to the window,so the bottom of the bird touches the line. (Hot glue will peel right off the window when you want it to!)
