VAN GOGH

Common conventions would say it’s rude to play with food- but one San Francisco-based photographer is making food fun again with her whimsical holiday creations- and all for a good cause. In a series called “Thanksgiving Special”, artist Hannah Rothstein plates food inspired by some of the biggest names and personalities in art history. Although not perfect copies, each plate aspired to visualize, "what Thanksgiving plates would look liked if famous artists made them." Profits from the prints, being sold for $75 each, will be donated to the SF Marin Foodbank to feed those in need.

Below, check out a sample of her colorful creations- you’ll be hard-pressed to choose your favorite!
