1. Slice half your lemons thinly.

2. Squeeze the juice of the other half into the holes of a mini muffin tin and zest the peel into the juice. Fill to the top with water.

3. Place the lemon slices on top of the lemon water - one for each hole of the mini muffin tin. Freeze.

Flavor Your Store Bought Lemonade

There’s nothing wrong with buying ready made lemonade, instead of making it. If you do, however, want to make it taste even better, you have a couple of simple options.

1. Infuse Your Lemonade

Infuse your lemonade with an herb, like basil. Simply place a handful of basil into the mouth of your lemonade jug and let it infuse for about 45 minutes. The lemonade will take on a faint flavor of whatever herb you add and taste delicious.

2. Create Flavored Syrups

Create flavored syrups for your guests to customize their lemonade. Combining one part sugar and one part water on the stove, and simmering it until the sugar dissolves creates a simple syrup. Adding lavender, thyme or mint, for example, while the liquid is still hot, will infuse you syrups. The possibilities are endless!

So when life gives you lemons, make the best darn lemonade you can!
