The Best Oscar Night Trivia Game

Yahoo Makers: A Handmade Way to Make Your Party Pop

Materials:

  • Lighting gel/ transparent plastic sheets

  • Black Sharpie

  • Silver Duct Tape

  • Star Sticker

  • Gold Seal Sticker

  • White tape/ Masking tape

  • List of famous quotes from movies

  • Round container/box with a lid

  • Black Card stock

Tools:

  • Scissors

  • Pencil

Instructions:

1. Cut the lighting gel /plastic sheets into strips about 1” wide.

2. Use the Sharpie to write famous movie quotes, one on each strip.

3. Wrap a container with a lid in the silver duct tape so it looks like a metal film can.

4. Trace the diameter of the can onto black card stock, cut it out, and fit it into the bottom of the ‘can’.

5. Apply stickers to the top of the can lid to decorate it.


6. Put the quotes inside the ‘film can’ and seal the edge with white tape. Write some film number ‘code’ on the side for authentic look.
