Taylor Swift’s ‘Mystery Knitter’ Speaks Out About Her Killer Sweater

We all craft for various reasons. Need. (“I need a scarf!”) A sense of personal accomplishment. (“Hey, I made that scarf!”) Bragging rights. (“Hey, I made that unbelievably awesome scarf!)

And for some of us, a craft project ends up being seen by millions of people. And it gets worn by your musical idol.

That’s what happened with Jadda, a Colorado student and superfan of Taylor Swift, and her nearly eight-month-long craft project. Jadda knitted a personalized sweater for Swift and passed it along to Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift, at a Denver concert. To Jadda’s surprise and delight, Swift posted a picture of herself wearing the sweater that same night on her private jet to Instagram.

That Instagram has become like everything else Swift touches: a hit. It’s been liked 1.9 million times on Instagram. And Jadda is over the moon.
