Stop the Search, We’ve Found the Best Corn Maze in the U.S.

When it comes to corn mazes, few can compare with the over-the-top, larger-than-life designs unveiled each year at Mike’s Maze. The farm, located in Sunderland, Massachusetts at Mount Sugarloaf, has been around for nearly 20 years and wows crowds each with their grand-scale mazes.

This year’s design features an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the treasured Lewis Carroll novel.  A bird’s eye view shot reveals 8 acres of a cornfield masterpiece, with Alice, White Rabbit, and Cheshire Cat all making an appearance. In a fun play on words, the maze is titled ‘Alice in Sunderland,’ referencing the farm’s hometown in Massachusetts.

Besides the pure fun of venturing through a massive corn maze, visitors will also be treated to a special Alice in Wonderland twist on the classic fall pastime:

“The game challenges Wonderland explorers to assemble their croquet team and flamingo mallets on their way to the Queen’s Croquet Match! Maze-goers must muster their knowledge of Carroll’s classic children’s story to successfully ace acres of trivia and come out with a coveted farm prize! Just try not to lose your head along the way…” teases Mike’s on their Web site.

What started as a “fun project for two college buddies” has now blossomed into a full-fledged vacation destination.
