DIY This No-Flower Wedding Centerpiece for Pennies
If you’re looking for ways to save on wedding expenses, the best place to start is to cut back on flowers. Whether it’s deciding to create your own arrangements, or forgoing blooms altogether - reigning it in when it comes to florals is a smart way to go.
With this in mind, how about creating a no-flower centerpiece that is as eye-catching as it is economical? Using dried grasses creates a delicate, elegant display that is unique, feminine and, best of all, budget-friendly.
Materials:
Oasis floral foam
Delicate, dried grass - all the same kind
Ivory Lace
Ivory burlap
Tools:
Garden snips
Instructions:
1. Lay your base tablecloth, as you would normally do.
2. Lay a row of oasis down the center, where you want your centerpiece to be.
3. Cover the oasis with strips of ivory burlap to camouflage the Oasis.
4. Lay the ivory lace, in a loose casual manner, over the burlap and oasis.

5. Poke the grasses into the oasis (piercing through the weave of the lace and the burlap), creating a delicate row about 2-4” wide and as long as your table.
